Update 1: The Matrimandir and the Great Pyramid at Giza

Extract from Chronicle 11, dated February 2004, followed by the new commentaries:
 
The question of mass and alignment

‘The pre-Pharaonic Egyptians understood the question of mass. The Great Pyramid provides the proof. Science has not addressed this aspect of the colossus yet, mainly because it still refuses to accept that its builders possessed a science and technology far beyond ours. It is impossible, they sustain, and therefore they refuse to look at it, in spite of the ground reality.
‘The answer we seek in the Great Pyramid lies in its mass which involves the most baffling aspect of the structure: the size and positioning of the massive stones that tightly and accurately constitute this mass. But there is more, and this involves alignment and the core, which in turn are provided by shafts of great precision traversing the Pyramid, and the chambers at specific locations and of specific dimensions. All of this has been executed with a precision completely unparalleled and unrealisable by us today. Above all, we have no idea why such a phenomenal effort would have consumed an entire civilisation. The answer lies in the question of alignment indeed, but not just for Egypt. It involves the Earth’s axis itself; spatial however, unlike the Mother’s chamber where it is a question of time axial alignment as these Chronicles demonstrate and true to the Rig Veda heritage.
‘The mass, proportions and design of the Great Pyramid brought about a ‘shifting of the poles’, as it were. To be more accurate, it was a balancing factor, a compensation, if you will. For example, while the 5 days over the 360 of the perfect circle have to be accommodated in the Mother’s core, so too in the Great Pyramid the spatial equivalent needed to be factored. It is similar to a weight placed at a particular point in a rolling sphere so that a determined course and rotation could be attained and maintained. Knowledge of the secrets of mass and proportion provided those hallowed Initiates with the means to ‘conquer space’. In the Mother’s chamber the element we deal with is time. Thus the precision demanded now, similar to the construction of the Great Pyramid, involves the correct measurements of the chamber and, above all, the correct dimensions of the globe and pedestal and their location beneath the descending solar ray. In both instances a ‘rectification’ of a certain imbalance is the issue. The Earth is sacred within the solar system because she houses an evolving species which can ponder these mysteries and serve as conscious instruments for this ‘correction process’, with all that it signifies. At no other place in our System is this operation possible.’ (From CIC 11.)

A news item appeared in The Hindu, 27 May 2004, entitled ‘Why the Earth Wobbles’. It needs to be reported to our readers because of its important implications for the Great Pyramid, and by consequence the Mother’s inner chamber in which the Great Pyramid holds a privileged place, provided the measurements the Mother gave are accurately executed. This report from scientists at the University of Nevada adds considerable weight to the assessment put forth in these Chronicles (quoted above) regarding the function of the Great Pyramid.
The ‘wobble’ referred to in the newspaper report is what creates the Precession of the Equinoxes. Catching up with ancient traditions the world over, science now knows that it takes approximately 26,000 years of the Precession for one gyration to be completed, but more importantly it is now theorising that a shift in mass on the surface of the Earth can alter that rhythm. According to Geoff Blewitt, by using a global positioning system over the past decade and measuring changes in the shape of the Earth, the conclusion his team has arrived at is that ‘…the earth is wobbling while its shape is changing…It bulges at the equator as it’s spinning. If the position and height of that bulge changes slightly – we can pick it up’.
This shift in mass changes the wobble and, by consequence, the rhythm of the Precession must change.
The builders of the Great Pyramid possessed a technology very far in advance of our own. On this point there can be no dispute. However, what is still being questioned – or rather ignored because there seems to be no ‘reasonable’ answer – is what the purpose of such a massive structure might have been. Being so obviously the product of an advanced civilisation, it is unacceptable that we continue teaching our children that those pre-historic builders were egomaniacs seeking self-aggrandisement. The Great Pyramid and its companions had a specific role to play – and incredibly this role embraced the destiny of the entire Earth. The Initiates of those times dealt with the Solar System as if it were a great Clock, and they left us this evidence of their startling ability to re-set this cosmic timepiece.
What has not been addressed, though we continue to give so much thought to HOW the pre-Pharaonic Egyptians carried out the construction, is why such massive stones were required. We seek to understand how they were set in place, realising that today we cannot duplicate such a formidable feat; but no one questions why they needed such enormous blocks to begin with. Considering their very advanced technological capacity, the Pyramids could have been made hollow, if only the shape was required – for whatever purpose. This was not the case. Great effort was put into securing a certain tightly fitted mass. It seems clear enough that this mass is the key issue.
Contemporary science is now edging closer to the discovery of just what a given mass might have been needed for, though it does not apply these discoveries to the Great Pyramid; after all, our text books continue to propagate the misinformation that we are the apex of evolution! How can science now introduce anything that might contradict this dogma?
As stated in these Chronicles and in other publications, a ‘shifting of the poles’ was required in order to bring about a convergence of the two circles, equatorial and sidereal, in 234 BCE. This was to assure that the Age of Aquarius would begin in 1926. According to the newspaper report, ‘…Large amounts of mass need to be moved from one place to another so that the Earth is “off balance” to make the Earth wobble, according to Blewitt, who said the North Pole then adjusts to a new position to compensate.’ (Emphasis ours.)

These latest findings concur with our assessment in these Chronicles regarding the essential purpose of the Great Pyramid as reported in CIC 11. While science may not be ready to apply this discovery to the Pyramid, its mass, located very near the equatorial band where ‘bulges’ matter the most, has to be taken into consideration. It was constructed during the 7^th Manifestation of Sri Ram, 7^th in the Line of Ten Avatars. And we do have stories in the Ramayana about Hanuman moving enormous stones to construct the bridge to Lanka. Quaint tales? Perhaps. Or perhaps the Earth soul’s memories (myths) of deeds long, long past. In this case, we now have evidence that a shift in mass can produce a change in the wobble which in turn directly affects the Precessional movement. This unveiling of the secret of the Great Pyramid has far-reaching implications. As predicted by the Sphinx, we realise that 1926 was the momentous turning point, the time of revelation and completion. During the 7^th evolutionary avataric appearance in the 7^th Manifestation, the Cosmic Clock was re-set so that the future convergence would occur ‘right on time’.
In The New Way (Aeon Books, 1981) it is repeatedly stated that this is the function of the Evolutionary Avatars: to re-set the Clock and to imprint the evolutionary matrix by their coming in accordance with this harmony.
What is revealed in these pages is a realisation of trikaladrishti, as the Veda calls this faculty, (vision of the three times). It is a vast prophetic capacity with a practical application, rare in the world of the Spirit as we know it today. This reveals a civilisation totally different from ours, where science served exclusively that ‘higher purpose’. And what a science it was! We have nothing comparable today.
On the other hand, is this any different than the 9^th Avatar, Sri Aurobindo, leaving us the sacred Formula, 9/6/3/0, in his own symbol? Or the Mother’s capacity to know that this was the great key for the years to come and that it must form the heart of her Chamber and must be set in place with the same meticulous precision that was used for the construction of the Great Pyramid – and for a similar connected purpose?
The problem lies in the executors of her express command (‘an engineer not an architect’…). There seems to be no apparent reason why these great deeds could not have been cemented for many centuries to come in the Auroville Matrimandir. Instead we have to dedicate our time to exposing the falsehood that has taken root there, in the effort at least to halt the on-going deception, while contingency plans had to be implemented over the last three decades to assuage the damage. Just imagine the fate of the Earth and the Supramental Manifestation today – so closely connected to Egypt of 12,000 years ago - if a simple architect of no higher realisation were to have usurped the position of the Initiate then and imposed his will on the colossus, claiming his vision to be superior to that of the Seer. Of course this is unthinkable. But it has transpired in our times when technology does not know how to serve ‘a higher purpose’, and university degrees are the be-all-end-all of the quest for knowledge.

Mona Doctor, Auroville architect, continues to propagate on the official Auroville website (www.auroville.org/sacred geometry [Blog note: this link/address is not currently functioning]) that the Great Pyramid shape exists in the Auroville temple, not only failing to state who actually made the discovery in 1976 (MAC’s convenor) but ignoring all these years our repeated pleas to honour the true position which is that nothing of the Great Pyramid exists in what they have constructed in the Mother’s name in Auroville (see CIC 6). Hence her article and claims are totally false. They continue to deliberately mislead the public. Considering the phenomenal precision the pre-Pharaonic Egyptians possessed, is it any wonder that the Mother pleaded for precision in the execution of her plan, connected as it has been proven to that former revelation? She had every right to believe that we could achieve the same results; but in this Aquarian Age by honouring the task set before us, and which the Great Pyramid directly helped us to achieve.
The purpose of the Mother’s Vision concerns the time factor. In pre-historic Egypt it was spatial factors and physical mass. Alignment of the Mother’s chamber is as important as alignment was for the Great Pyramid, particularly the chamber’s crosswise shafts, - horizontal and vertical. In a yogic process, ultimately this gives us the perfect centre that fills the Void.
This is the goal of the Yoga of the Year, if it may be so called – Earthly and Precessional. That is, the annual cycle of 12 months and the greater cycle of 12 but spread over 25,920 years. Both these circles (of time) had to converge in 234 BCE. They did, thanks to the Great Pyramid. Meanwhile the Sphinx preserves this secret for us and reveals the axis, Aquarius/Leo, when the Avatar would appear to complete the work set in motion 12,000 years ago in a direct line. In the Mother’s revelation we have this convergence meticulously honoured in the descending solar ray which must touch the globe/pedestal at a very precise location if the ‘symbol of the future realisation’ is to operate and fulfil its function.
For more information see The New Way, Vol. 2, Chapter 9, concerning the position of the Great Pyramid at exactly 30 degrees East, 30 degrees North on the globe which, according to the geo-cosmological ruler of the New Way, is the geo-zodiacal point of the start of the Aquarian Age when the zodiac is projected onto and across the globe.
Given the precision noted above, we are not surprised to discover that the current measure of the Precession of the Equinoxes, which the Earth’s wobble brings about, is 25,920 years; and that the birthdates of each member of the Solar Line – 2-5-9-2/0 - have cemented that sacred measure in our planet’s unfolding destiny in time. This, coupled with the revelation of the Great Pyramid’s secret, causes wonder and awe and instils a reverence for the Consciousness that could so sovereignly and meticulously organise this Descent to further its Divine Plan.
It is only the petty human ego that stands in the way of this immense Vision taking shape in a physical construction affecting the destiny of the whole Earth. Colossal indeed is the human ignorance that pretends to improve upon that Plan!
